EVN Winery and Wines

EVN Wine Academy’s new and fully equipped practical winery is a small facility in Voslehat village that gives students the opportunity to apply their practical skills in winemaking at their experimental cellar, conduct different experiments and upon graduation have their own wine. “Enology and Wine business” 2018 certificate program at EVN Wine Academy. Training Center is located in the Teaching-Experimental Farm of ANAU in Voskehat village, Armavir marz.

This center is another innovative and important initiative that became true thanks to the financial and technical support from our key partner, GIZ.

Our students have already created three different wines from Areni and Voskehat grapes. The first wine is “Blanc de Noir”, with juice from red Areni grapes, very light in color and delicate in aromatic profile. The second is Rosé, also made from Areni grapes, and the third is our White wine from Voskehat grapes. In order to discover the influence of various woods our Red wine, we have put it into two different barrels made from French and Armenian oaks.

We are planning to have our second vintage already by May 2020 and traditionally serve samples during the Yerevan Wine days. EVN Wine Academy’s wines will also be available for all wine lovers in the best wine bars and cafes of Yerevan very soon.
