Job Description: ICARE Foundation (Foundation) is looking for an experienced Project Manager (PM) to be hired in the scope of the Women of Armenia Growing Resilience in Agribusiness (AgriWoW) Project, funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety, and Consumer Protection (BMUV). Under the overall guidance of the Director of the Foundation, the PM will drive seven demonstration sites and a package of enabling interventions (integrated pest and disease management with early-warning systems, agrovoltaics in vineyards, value-adding post-harvest solutions, certified nurseries, digital knowledge hubs, and access to green finance).
The PM will be responsible for timely implementation of the project (quality, budget, deadlines, reports, etc.) and will work closely with the administration staff of the ICARE Foundation, the project team, and the involved stakeholders for managing the project effectively. The PM will arrange the works of the project personnel and share and receive project-related information and deliverables from them. The role blends technical program leadership, partner orchestration, rigorous M&E, and donor-grade delivery.

Job responsibilities:
▪Manage all the necessary aspects to ensure successful planning and implementation of the Project.
▪Coordinate and oversee all organizational and logistic activities to ensure successful implementation of the Project.
▪Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
▪Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
▪Ensuring project expenses are made by GIZ regulations,
▪Obtain acceptance of the Project deliverables by the Supporting organization.
▪Manage the stakeholders’ satisfaction within the Project.
▪Organize and attend meetings with team members, stakeholders, partners and other relevant parties to support the Project planning and implementation.
▪Organize the procurement and goods distribution processes, by ensuring all the procurement requirements are strictly followed and documentation is in place (aligned to the Project requirements).
▪Prepare project status and progress reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
▪Establish effective project communication plans and ensure their execution.
▪Ensure compliance with the supporting organization and ICARE rules and regulations throughout the implementation of the project.
▪Ensure proper project closing activities after completing all the project related activities and completing all the defined tasks.
▪Other tasks that fall under this component.

Required qualifications:

▪Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in Agriculture/Agronomy, Environmental/Climate Sciences, Finance, Project Management, or related field.
▪Holding of international project management certifications (PMP, etc.) is advantage.
▪At least 5 years of managing multi-stakeholder, donor-funded programs in agriculture or climate-smart development.
▪Demonstrated capacity to mobilize financial resources (including green finance) and design bankable proposals with SMEs/farmers.
▪Proven experience in donor funded projects (preferable GIZ funded projects), planning and implementing large-scale events, and developing reports in the relevant field.
▪Strong team working, interpersonal and analytical skills.
▪Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
▪Experience working effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders including government, civil society groups, research institutions, private sector partners and local communities.
▪Strong budgeting, procurement, contract, and risk management skills; familiarity with donor compliance.
▪Excellent stakeholder management across government, academia, CSOs, and private sector; strong facilitation and training capability.
▪Excellent computer literacy, knowledge of MS office software and web-based applications;
▪Fluency in English and Armenian.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
