Hello, my name is Anna. I studied Finance at the University of Minho (1 semester) in 2018 within the framework of Erasmus+ ICM Project. My aim was to get a good education, get acquainted with other cultures and, of course, create unforgettable memories.

I spent very interesting months at the University of Minho and I was very busy. The university had an open and welcoming environment, a very professional team of professors. During the period of my studies there, I improved my English; I studied a new foreign language: Portuguese. I studied many competitive subjects; modern software related to Finance, which, I believe, has made me more employable.

One of the greatest pleasures was sharing my experience with other international students and getting the chance to make friends from all over the world. It did not take long to become part of the international community. It was amazing to study in Portugal because it allowed me to travel across Europe.

Studying abroad gives you the opportunity to really know yourself: how to be independent, responsible, how to communicate and meet people from every corner of the world. Erasmus was a great experience for me and influenced my choices in life. I can surely say that these are memories for life.

When you are applying for Erasmus program remember to study hard, travel a lot and enjoy your Erasmus life!
