The International Center for Agribusiness Research and Education (ICARE Foundation) is proud to host the “Let’s talk about wine” event on September 30, 2022, at 19:00 at “Decant Wine and Spirit” (Saryan 1). The event will feature a TED-format meeting-discussion within the framework of “The Sea of Wine” project, which aims to develop and market the Black Sea region as a wine tourism destination.

The program is a joint collaboration between ICARE Foundation, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Georgian Center for Agribusiness Development, and Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, and is financed by the “Black Sea Basin 2014-2020” under the joint operational program of Cross-Border Cooperation within the European Neighborhood Instrument.

At the event, the International Center for Agribusiness Research and Education will present The Black Sea Wine Route, a comprehensive guide that highlights the region’s wine industry and provides information on the best wineries, wine bars, and wine-related activities in Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, and Greece. Additionally, the Center will launch a website that will serve as a digital platform for wine enthusiasts, industry professionals, and tourists to explore and experience the unique culture, history, and flavors of the Black Sea wine region.

We invite winemakers, sommeliers, hospitality professionals, and wine enthusiasts to join us for an informative and exciting evening that celebrates the beauty and diversity of wine. Let’s talk about wine and discover the possibilities of wine tourism in the Black Sea region.”
