ICARE Researcher and Young Professional for Agricultural Development (YPARD) Armenia communications manager Astghik Sahakyan was selected to participate in the YPARD 2018-2021 Strategic Planning Meeting. The meeting was held from the 5th to 8 March 2018, with national representatives, regional coordinators, steering committee members and members of YPARD from all over the world participating. Astghik was one of the 8 participants who were uniformly selected out of a total of 35 applicants across the globe-in proportion to regional distribution. The meeting was held at the hosting institution of the European Coordination Unit of YPARD: the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CULS), Czech Republic.
Draft strategic development document was developed to be further disseminated among the YPARD country representatives.
