From Grape to Wine: Training for Winemakers and Wine Lovers

The Armenian National Agrarian University (ANAU), the Wine University in Suze la Rousse, France, and the EVN Wine Academy of ICARE have launched their second joint initiative – a five-day training course called“The Description of the Technological Chain from Grape to Wine.” Marie-José Richaud, a known enology expert and professor of Suze la Rousse, conducts the course. The participants are practitioners from the wine industry and undergraduate and graduate students of ANAU Food Technology Department, and EVN Wine Academy students. The topics include: traditional and classical winemaking; the grape as a raw product; technological equipment; fermentation methods; quality control, and more.  The course is a result of the Memorandum of Understanding signed three months ago between the Armenian Ministry of Agriculture, ANAU, the Armenian Industry Development Foundation and Suze La Rousse University.
