ICARE-Armenia/Agribusiness Teaching Center (ATC) accepts applications for a faculty position for Agribusiness Management, Technical Writing, and Business Analytics courses at the Undergraduate Agribusiness (UAB) Program. The instructor will be teaching in a vibrant academic environment and will have the flexibility to introduce own initiative in designing the course structure. ICARE will assist the lecturer with relevant teaching materials and books.

POSITION: Lecturers for Agribusiness Management, Technical Writing and Business Analytics courses

START DATE/ TIME:  September 1, 2024
DURATION: September 1 – December 30, 2024
LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia
DEADLINE for submission of CVs: August 17, 2024

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Teach Agribusiness Management, Technical Writing, and Business Analytics courses in English,
– Mentoring and advising of the students.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– At least a master’s degree appropriate to the academic discipline,
– Demonstrate strong teaching capability,
– At least 2 years of professional experience in teaching,
– Relevant industry experience is preferred,
– Proficiency in English,
– Excellent presentation skills,
– Excellent communication skills,
– High sense of responsibility,
– Good computer skills,
– Experience using Moodle platform.

The Agribusiness Teaching Center is the first and the flagship unit of ICARE that provides agribusiness education to achieve sustainable entrepreneurial activities in the food and agriculture sector in Armenia. It prepares agribusiness specialists at undergraduate and graduate levels, armed with broad economic, marketing, and managerial skills, up-to-date communication abilities, and excellent knowledge of English. These skills make ATC graduates competitive in the growing regional agribusiness sector. The curriculum is Western-structured, based on the undergraduate (Agricultural Economics) and graduate (Master of Agribusiness) curricula of Texas A&M University. Courses are taught in English by American and Armenian instructors.
