Faculty Position: Digital Marketing

ICARE-Armenia/ Agribusiness Teaching Center accepts applications for a faculty position for Digital Marketing course at the Master of Agribusiness (MAB) Program.

POSITION: Digital Marketing (Graduate Level)
START DATE/ TIME: March 1, 2021
DURATION: 4-month appointment
LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia

JOB DESCRIPTION: The instructor will be teaching in a vibrant academic environment and will have the flexibility to introduce their own initiative in designing the course structure.  Classes will be conducted in the evening hours, three times per week for a total of four hours, including a one-hour lab session. The ICARE will assist the lecturer with relevant teaching materials and books. The research interests and initiatives of the successful candidate will be welcomed by the ICARE.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

– Teach Digital Marketing course in English

– Mentoring and advising the students.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

– At least a master’s degree appropriate to the academic discipline,

– Demonstrate strong teaching capability,

– At least 2 years of professional experience in teaching,

– Relevant industry experience is preferred,

– Proficiency in English,

– Excellent presentation skills,

– Excellent communication skills,

– High sense of responsibility,

– Good computer skills,

– Experience using the Moodle platform.

The Agribusiness Teaching Center is the first and the flagship unit of ICARE that provides agribusiness education to achieve sustainable entrepreneurial activities in the food and agriculture sector in Armenia. It prepares agribusiness specialists at undergraduate and graduate levels, armed with broad economic, marketing, and managerial skills, up-to-date communication abilities, and excellent knowledge of English. These skills make ATC graduates competitive in the growing regional agribusiness sector. The curriculum is Western-structured, based on the undergraduate (Agricultural Economics) and graduate (Master of Agribusiness) curricula of Texas A&M University. Courses are taught in English by American and Armenian instructors.
