Presentation of the “Armenian Vine and Wine” book organized by GIZ, Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia, ICARE and the Union of Young Winemakers, took place in one of the exceptional cultural centers in Armenia, Hovhannes Sharambeyan Centre of Popular Creation. RA Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Armen Harutyunyan, Ambassador of Germany to Armenia Matthias Kiesler, the authors of the book and management and staff representatives of the above agencies were attending the event.

Like wine is not just a drink, this book is not just a book but also an unprecedented cultural phenomenon in the form of a book, with comprehensive content and adequate attractive illustration. The team of authors has valued anew the history, traditions and the social context of Armenian viticulture and winemaking, with the trend and the goal of laying the groundwork for proceeding to future developments from the current renaissance of the Armenia wine.
Congratulations and thank you to GIZ and the group of authors for this significant achievement. The book will be highly demanded among a wide range of stakeholders and readers at large in Armenia and Diaspora. The first few dozens of copies signed by the authors were sold directly during the event. The income generated from the sale of the book will be allocated to support education and research activities in the field of vine and wine in Armenia.
